CONDITIONS OF HIRE

Thank you for your enquiry regarding booking our bowling club for your function. We would like to advise you and your guests of our following conditions of hire.

  • Tentative bookings will only be held for 7 working days.
  • Deposit of $50.00 is payable at time of making the booking. (This is non-refundable but forms part of the hire fee.)
  • Hire fee for room is $200 and a Bond of $200 is also required and will be refunded after inspection of room is cleared.
  • The payment of the room hire is your secured deposit for your function.
  • Your bar account must be paid on the night by cash or credit card with the payment is to be made directly to the Duty Manager.
  • The Club is not responsible for any articles or equipment left on the premises at any time.
  • The applicant will be held responsible for any breakages and damage. Any costs associated with breakages or damage will be charged to the applicant.
  • If persons under the age of 18 are included in the function a person in authority must be nominated to assume responsibility that alcohol is not consumed by an underage person.
  • Lalor Bowling Club Inc, practices Responsible Service of Alcohol and we reserve the right to refuse service and/or remove any person form the premises.
  • Staff & Management are permitted to enter the function room at any time during your function.
  • Staff & Management may refuse the admission to and/or removal of any persons from the Club who fails to comply with the terms and conditions of entry under the Clubs Constitution or any government regulations.

Responsibility of Hiree is to ensure your guests are aware of the following:

  • NO “BYO” drinks. 
  • Children must be supervised at all times – both inside and outside the clubhouse.
  • NO alcohol or other drinks to be taken onto the bowling green.
  • Smoking is restricted to designated external areas only. (Refer to Duty Officer for information)
  • Must not use club supplies. e.g., Coffee/tea etc.
  • Hire times must be strictly adhered to.
  • The bar will close half hour prior to end of function time.
  • Leave the club in condition as found, floors clean, kitchen clean, tables wiped, any spillages cleaned up, furniture to be returned to where it was originally located, and all room rubbish to be placed in bins. (Available outside side entrance or large rubbish skip bin).
  • Decorations are strictly limited to floor and tables or any hanging hooks that maybe already provided in room.
  • All decorations and items are to be removed from the room at the end of the function.
  • Bare feet or flat soled shoes only on the Bowling greens. (If part of the hire agreement).

Barefoot Bowls: $10.00 per person for a 2-hour session. Your own rink available and Bowls, Jack and Mat supplied. Bowls demonstration available along with Supervision.
Footwear: Barefoot or with Socks on, Flat soled shoes
